The Rocky Point Civic Association website has been redesigned!  Thank you for visiting our website and please remember to stop by the first Tuesday of the month at the VFW Hall for our meeting.  The meeting begins at 7:30 PM. Dues are only $20 for a family membership.

31st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

On Saturday, December 5, 2015, the community gathered together in beautiful downtown Rocky Point for the 31st Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.  Thank you to Linda Albo, Ed Maher, Carl Wennerod, Sunburst Tree, Streff Tree, and the Rocky Point Rotary for all that they do for our community.

On Tuesday, December 1, the Rocky Point Civic Association and Councilwoman Bonner honored Pat Adamko for her years of service to the Rocky Point Civic and to the community.  Pat served for over a decade as the Association's corresponding secretary.  We wish Pat the best of luck during the next chapter of her life.  Thank you, Pat, for all your years of volunteering!

Welcome to Rocky Point Sign

Councilwoman Bonner Attends "Welcome to Rocky Point" Sign Unveiling Ceremony 

On August 6, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the "Welcome to Rocky Point" sign unveiling ceremony on the south side of Route 25A across from Patchogue Drive. Funding for the sign came from the New York State Department of Health in the implementation of Creating Healthy Places in Suffolk County. Pictured left to right are Rocky Point Civic Association (RPCA) President Kathy Weber, Susan Wilk of Cornell Cooperative Extension, Legislator Sarah Anker, RPCA Trustee Rory Rubino, Corresponding Secretary Pat Adamko, Councilwoman Bonner, Joe Cognitore and RCPA Sergeant-at-Arms Charles Bevington.

 

"The Rocky Point community farmers market has become a destination on Sunday for families to get fresh, healthy produce," said Councilwoman Bonner. "Thanks to the Creating Healthy Places and the Family Health and Wellness program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County, we have this beautiful new sign to welcome people to the community."
